This was actually the November issue but somehow I was a bit late on this. Amazing hairstylist Eugene Soulieman did the hair as Anja did her best Michelle Pfeifer in Scarface look…Miss you Simon!! The retro caramel polish is a Mac one I have had for years, its actually vintage lol.

Upcoming YouTube Giles Manicure Tutorial Video

Last week I filmed a couple of new nail tutorials in association with Because Magazine.
The style will be slightly different as there will not be any talking but all the products will be listed and there will be links to buy them (apparently) I keep searching for the perfect person to make these videos with. It is not easy I can assure you, but one day I will get there! What I am trying to achieve is an informative,detailed and technically competent visual in a stylish format. I am trusting Because to do a good job so we will have to wait and see…….

Hot Happening Trend…Luxury Fingerless Gloves

I have seen this Chanel fingerless glove on a couple of shoots recently and its like the most perfect glove ever. I don’t know if its because nails have become so fashionable recently but fingerless gloves seem to be the latest hot accessory – it is the perfect complement to show off a manicure and long nails don’t fit well into regular gloves. Anyway I clocked these gorgeous ones by Chanel, Hermes and McQueen recently….

Kylie with Gold Nails

Anyone who follows me on twitter might know that I was requested to work with Style and former Nail Icon Kylie Minogue for a couple of days last week. I first met Kylie’s style director William Baker a few years back and he is great to work with as not only does he love a nice nail, but he shocked the life out of me by saying he loves my website and thinks its really inspiring!!!!!!! I cant say too much about what we were working on but I know that next year A HELL OF A LOT OF PEOPLE will be checking out our handiwork. I created 5 different nail looks for Kylie over the 2 days and as soon as the imagery gets released I’ll get posting.
I did spot this photo of Kyles in the press with the gold nails I did for her on the last day.
