I was reccommended to buy this in Sephora in Paris back in October when my nails were all messed up from the shows…..it is without doubt the best I have used in my whole career. I use it as a base coat and it does not chip and my nails are longer and stronger than ever. Its name is Herome Nail Hardener.

In a new direction for the Sophy Robson brand we got asked to do nails at the Bang Bang Club New Years Event in Dalston. Getting nails done in a club may be a strange concept to some people but it works! We were as popular with the boys as the girls and the dripping blood, Colour tips and half moon manicures were the most popular looks. Shame I couldn’t get photos as we were too busy working.
The theme of the night was prom night and some of the girls looked so fly in their outfits and some boys were dressed in bow tie and tux. Totally got down to the dubstep and hip hop music and had a fabulous time. So the 1st year of the 10′s is done, I’ve worked on 27 shows made 5 nail tutorials and lost count of how many editorials and campaigns there have been (although I think there were nails on 3 British Vogue Covers.) I met some interesting and cool people and unfortunately some rather unsavoury douchebags who shall remain nameless but hopefully will not be re appearing.

From the Louis Vuitton SS11 show where we did the glossiest dark red toes ever, the shoes were excquisite and I’ve been getting some close ups of the giraffe and zebra versions on recent shoots.
Alot has been written about VB’s bags and how quickly they sold out on Net A Porter and I was lucky enough to have a close encounter with the said items, which I believe were a collaboration with one of the UK’s best accessory designers Katie Hillier. Tell the truth I would LOVE one as they really are beautifully crafted, well made and extremeley covetable….however £8000 is a little out of my price range!!
Ok I am not going to even try and pretend that I haven’t denounced novelty nails in the past. But then I got asked to do some for THELOVEMAGAZINE’s advent calendar on their website www.the lovemagazine.co.uk/
and I started thinking that maybe CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY NAILS could be done in a cool way. Hope Everyone had a Merry Christmas!!
