Imagine the silent screaming noise I made when ASOS magazine contacted me asking if I wanted to do a nail story creating 6 pages of nail shots!
My inspriration as it was for the music issue was to create 6 looks based on some of the nail icons I have featured on my blog.
So here in all its glory is the shoot with my backstage shots so you can see they were all real and not created by the computer.

I did not get a picture of these on the models as this was the last shot and by this point I was doing an interview so I missed the chance, but here is the inspiration from her new video ( or one of them). I added a butterfly in reference to McQueen and a hand grenade cos she’s a bit of a liability!

(Many thanks to Stevie and Marina from ASOS and Marius Hansen the photographer)

Incredible work! So great to see a magazine finally putting a 6 page editorial exclusively for nail art.
I agree! They gave me more freedom and less creative restriction than any mag I have worked for. Thanks @ASOS for having the balls to do it.
These are amazing! So fly!
Awesome work Sophy! Big ups for the 6 page editorial. As always, your nail creations are so dope.
Wow, amazing! What is the fab red polish you used?!
Love, Love, Love it.
Ha! Thanks it is actually the customised Louboutin Red I used at the Ungaro show in Paris.

Very stunning designs, though very unusual but still its an eye catcher. I can say that Lady gaga will love this kind of nails for she is an icon in modeling stunning designs like this.
