I am always being asked what is the “hit” colour for this summer and I have been saying Nouvelle Vague by Chanel. Just like last years Jade colour, this seasons more bluer version is both shocking and flattering at the same time. (just ask Beyonce) and for those that find the £16.50 price a little over their budget, there are a range of other varieties including Turquoise & Caicos by Essie, Jade Stone by Models Own and Nudge by Illamasqua and Malibu Green by American Apparel. I have also just used most of them on an up coming nail tutorial for Elle TV on how to achieve the gradient manicure look. Take your pick!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this! Thank you for giving us different price ranges too!; )
I have Nouvelle Vague and then cracked open my China Glaze in shade ‘For Audrey’. I think its much nicer- got a lot of complements wearing it. Think it goes on better than Chanel. Looking forward to Pardoxical (thanks for the pic Sophy) but again I think I am going to prefer a a forthcoming similar shade from a different brand- Butter London in ‘Marrow’. It is lighter but in the same colour family.
Really looking forward to the baby blue shade thats coming from Chanel next year- I hope its released everywhere and not at limited outlets a la their Russian collection.

I’ve just bought ‘Sky High’ by Rimmel. It’s very similar to Jade Stone. It’s about £4, so pretty affordable. I love it, it’s a great colour that actually goes with any outfit!!! Hx
