Nail Icon Sharon Stone in Casino aka Ginger

I remember seeing this movie in the 90′s like it was yesterday, and it is still one of my all time favourites….I’ve never seen a film where the nails were done so well or so appropriately for a character as on my icon Ginger Mckenna from Scorsese’s Casino. The hair, the make up, the furs, the hustler sentiment were all on point and so were her nails. They were long, they were squoval, they were fabulous, and completed her look as she matured from the 70′s to the 80′s as a super rich casino wife in Vegas. So began my obsession, as from the next day I was copying her red tipped french manicure and started doing my  white tips in a V tip shape. And that was where my love of experimenting with different nail art styles got started – I’d never seen anything like that in The Source magazine !  Her look was so hip hop though the glam gangsta b****.
